Artificial Grass Installation

The Easigrass fully porous system is used for most outdoor installations where the surface is to be placed on top of a soil sub-base.

Step 1: 

The first step in the Easi-System is the removal of existing grass from the root base, after which we introduce the easi-weed barrier, a specially designed non-woven and permeable geo-textile membrane with excellent drainage properties. The weed membrane acts as the first layer of protection in the easi-system and stops weeds from growing and forming networks underneath the base which can compromise the stability of the base. 

Step 2: 

We then apply the easi-grit sand, the ultimate engineered aggregate base, which allows us to create the perfect, smooth and almost bowling green-like surface. We use a minimum 50mm base for optimised stability which allows for natural ground movement (expansion and contraction of soil) – we do not compromise on quality! 

Step 3:

The next step is to install the optional easi-shock pad which goes underneath the Easigrass and helps cushion the final surface. We then install the selected Easigrass, as chosen from our full range of different types of grass, that all vary in height, quality, thickness, texture and uses. We will then create the perfect seam joints using our bespoke glue and specialised joining tape.

Step 4:

Thereafter, we introduce our specialist silica infill sand and drive it right into the base of the grass using our specialist brush equipment, keeping the surface correctly in position and stable especially during Zimbabwe’s hot summer months.

Step 5:

Finally, we clean up the entire area, clear all the debris from the outer perimeter, tidy and sweep up all surrounding areas before doing a final handover of your brand new lawn for you to enjoy for many years to come.
